Where is athenaeum theatre

Venue changed without notice and so we turned up for the concert only New venue was too far to get to in time. Leonie Moss 08 Feb Very basic venue however was impressive with candles for a night of Vivaldi by Candlelight.

Christine Elhakim 28 Jan One of the of the best places to see a productions, if you want to make the most of it pay for the closer seats or Lorraine Mace 22 Jan Nice old theatre but unfortunately it's getting a bit tired looking. Maybe we need some funding done for a refurb. We saw Alice in Wonderland with the kids. Space between each family, great interaction between the cast and audience. They loved it. Natsu Milk 11 Jan Vintage building.

Sound system was surprisingly pleasant. Didn't see any concession stands, so plus point. Nadin Oku 18 Dec It was no place to sit. We bought flowers, and my daughter wanted to present it to singer after the concert.

And before pandemic, I was there too. And same story happened. And I bring flowers to home. It kill all mood of evening. I will not come in this place again. Fred Porter 11 Dec I love this place. Can't wait to visit again and see a show next time I'm in Melbourne. Agent Digital 11 Dec Stunning Melbourne venue, in the heart of the city offering patrons a traditional theatre experience. A must see! Ruby Faith 16 Mar Just great to be in an original style theatre.

Beautiful and the performance was top class. Vicki Martin 13 Mar A wonderful place Khalil Wade 03 Mar The atmosphere in this theatre is great. Spacious and cool. Small but sweet. Totally recommend. Homie 02 Mar Sweet little spot next to town Hall for comedy gigs and more. Flight Centre Travel Expo was absolutely spectacular. I met so many interesting people who all were looking to explore I love learning from fellow explorers.

Oh the places you'll go. The world is waiting!!! Renee N 17 Dec Could do with a bit of an update. Aside from that the atmosphere here is great and the staff were wonderful. Shelley Henley 17 Sep I really like this theatre. It is not large but it does have pretty good site lines everywhere, and well designed raked It has a shabby elegance about it as the original plaster work and decorative elements remain unchanged.

Probably one of my all time favourite theatres. I just hope that it remains independent, and does not get modernised or developed. Currently it is owned by the Athenaeum Library which is located at the front of the building on the first floor, immediately above the attached ground floor restaurant.

Which is also great. Werribee Open Range Zoo. Sea Life Melbourne Aquarium. Eureka Skydeck DFO South Wharf. Melbourne Museum. Old Melbourne Gaol. National Gallery of Victoria. Public Holidays. Australian International Airshow.

The Big Design Market. AUS-X Open. Santas Magical Kingdom. Equitana Melbourne. State Rose and Garden Show. Melbourne Cup Parade. Wellness Walk and Research Run. Melbourne Underground Film Festival. Dog Lovers Show. Melbourne Attraction Pass. Melbourne Cable Park. Escape Rooms. Great Ocean Road. Horse Carriage Tours. Hot Air Balloons. A unique performance complex, the Athenaeum Theatre opened in as part of the campus of St.

Alphonsus Catholic Church. Conceived as a "neighborhood playhouse," by the original German-American parish, the Athenaeum Theatre is a historic building and the oldest continuously operating off-Loop theater in Chicago. The Athenaeum shares its heritage by using its various spaces for the arts, educational, and social service communities.

The building houses five performance spaces and offices and rehearsal halls for performing arts groups as well as a gymnasium and a food pantry.
