The Shark which had a stop-bar tailpiece would have been more stable as far as tuning goes. The song starts out with what sounds like a car flying down the highway with the horn blaring. Eddie gives us nothing here, but maybe a little peek. This is the track that caused millions of kids to lock themselves in their bedrooms with their guitars.
